Daughter of reliance chairperson Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani married Piramal groups' Ajay Piramal and Swati Piramal’ son Anand. The couple hosted pre-wedding celebrations in Udaipur's Oberoi Udai Vilas. The lavish bash at Udaipur saw a live performance of American pop singer Beyonce. The groom to be Anand Piramal has his quite interesting background that attracts everyone’s attention. Anand Piramal and Isha Ambani are childhood friends and both families have been friends for a decade now. Anand is a graduate of Harvard business school and also holds a degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is also the executive director of the Piramal group. He is a social activist, before joining Piramal group he founded a rural care initiative that treats 40000 poor patients daily.
The guest list of the wedding was very eye-catching which included various top national and international VVIP’s. The guest list included a former president of India Pranab Mukherjee, former United nations first lady Hilary Clinton, various business tycoons, politicians, and every big Bollywood A-lister. Isha and Anand looked, picture-perfect newlyweds.

The wedding invitation was customized with great
detailing, the invitation was designed with tons of blush, gold, and
floral. The invitation has featured a chant, an OM symbol around
monogram consisting of couple’s initials ‘IA’. On opening the
invitation a Gayatri mantra played and featured a note of couple
seeking the blessings of Goddess Gayatri. The invitation consisting
of a handwritten note from the bride to be where she pays an ode to
their grandparents for being their greatest role model.
The card
also features four 3D flowers that “personify qualities and values”
dedicated to grandmothers. There were over 200 charted plans that
were about to schedule to land and take off from Udaipur airport.
Mukesh Ambani after the marriage of her daughter gifted her a
sea-facing bungalow worth 450 crores. The house is valued to be one
of the biggest and most lavish houses in India. The marriage of Anand
Piramal and Isha Ambani created a worldwide impact of the big fat
Indian weddings and set a benchmark for the most luxurious wedding of
all time.
